Great Western Exotics has an established post-graduate training program. We run exotic animal internship and an avian residency.

Internships

One year training program providing a foundation in first opinion and referral exotic animal medicine. Run February to February each year with Applications being invited the proceeding Autumn. Positions will be advertised on our website and social media.

ECZM Avian Residency

Great Western Exotics is a long-established avian residency program. Typically, three years in length the residency is the only ECZM-avian program in the UK. Positions become available every 1-2 years. For more information of residency programs please see the ECZM website at ECZM.eu.
